Skylar Coins & Referral Programme terms

These terms apply to Skylar Coins and the Skylar Referral Programme on Skylar Learning, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("Skylar", "we", "us"). They form part of our Terms of use. By earning, spending or referring with Skylar Coins you agree to them.

1. What Skylar Coins are

Skylar Coins are a learning currency inside Skylar Learning. You earn them by learning and use them to unlock chapters. They are recorded against your learner account and exist only on Skylar Learning.

• Coins are a limited, revocable permission to use certain features of Skylar Learning. They are not your property, a deposit, a stored-value instrument, an e-wallet balance or a payment instrument, and they earn no interest.
• Coins cannot be purchased. We will never ask you to pay for coins.
• Coins are not linked to any trading or demat account, broker, security or investment. Earning or spending coins never requires opening a trading account.

2. Getting coins

You need a free learner account to hold coins. Current amounts:

• Welcome bonus: 500 coins when you create your account (one account per person).
• Lessons: 10 coins for each lesson you complete by passing its knowledge check.
• Chapter tests: 50 coins for each chapter test you pass.
• Atlases: 250 coins for completing every chapter of an atlas.
• Market Rewind: up to 40 coins for each case, depending on your answers on the first attempt.
• Referrals: see section 4.

Coins are awarded once for each lesson, test, atlas and case, and only for chapters that are free or that you have unlocked. Lessons you complete while signed out are counted when you sign in.

3. Using coins

• Chapters on the Foundation learning path are free. Every other chapter can be unlocked for 100 coins.
• An unlocked chapter stays unlocked for as long as your account is active. Coins spent on an unlock are not returned.
• Resetting your progress does not change your coin balance or your unlocked chapters.

4. Referral Programme

4.1 How it works

• Every learner account has a personal invite link and code, shown on My progress.
• A friend who creates a new Skylar Learning account through your link receives 100 bonus coins. The link must be used within 7 days of the friend's account being created.
• You receive 200 coins when that friend completes their first chapter: every lesson in a chapter plus its chapter test.
• You can receive at most 20 referral rewards in any 30 days. Referrals beyond the limit still count for your friend but do not reward you.
• Referral rewards are paid in Skylar Coins only. We never pay cash, commission or any other money for referrals.

4.2 Who can take part

• Learners aged 18 or over with an account in good standing.
• You cannot refer yourself, an account you control, or someone who already has an account.

4.3 How you may share your link

• Share it honestly with people you know, or on your own social media, website or messages.
• Do not spam, buy traffic, post on coupon or reward sites, or bid on Skylar's name in search ads.
• Do not describe Skylar Learning as investment advice, tips, signals or a way to make money, and do not promise returns of any kind. Skylar Learning is education only.
• Do not suggest that coins have cash value or can be converted into money.
• You take part as an individual learner. You are not our employee, agent or representative and may not make statements on our behalf.

5. Fair use

We may withhold, reverse or remove coins, unlocks and referral rewards, or suspend an account, if we reasonably believe coins were obtained by fake or duplicate accounts, automation, manipulating saved progress, exploiting errors, or breaking these terms or our Terms of use. Our records of coin activity are final, except for obvious errors, which we will correct.

6. Changes and ending the programme

We may change how coins are earned or spent, change the referral rewards or limits, or end Skylar Coins or the Referral Programme. We will announce material changes on this page with a new "last updated" date. Because coins have no cash value, no compensation is payable for any change, for coins you lose, or for the programme ending.

7. Closing your account

If you delete your account, or it is closed under our Terms of use, your coins, unlocked chapters and pending referral rewards end with it and cannot be restored or transferred.
