The Skylar Community is for learning
Ask questions, explain concepts, discuss what you studied and help others learn. It is not a place for stock tips, trading calls or investment advice, from members or from us. Skylar Learning is not registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser or Research Analyst, and members' posts are their own views.
1. Welcome
- Questions about concepts, lessons, charts, ratios, risk, psychology, regulation and how markets work.
- Explanations, worked examples (preferably with the fictional "Example Ltd" or with past data at least three months old), study tips and certification preparation.
- Discussion of Market Rewind cases and of past market events as learning.
- Honest stories about mistakes and what you learned from them.
2. Not allowed
- Tips and calls: buy, sell or hold calls, entry/exit/target/stop-loss levels for a trade, "stocks to watch", intraday or BTST calls, or asking others for them.
- Return promises: "guaranteed profit", "100% accuracy", "sure shot", "jackpot", or screenshots of profits used to attract followers.
- Promotion: paid groups, channels, courses, advisory services or referral links to other platforms, and invitations to "DM me".
- Contact details and outside groups: phone numbers, and Telegram, WhatsApp or Discord group links.
- Manipulation: pump-and-dump, rumours presented as fact, unpublished price-sensitive information, or co-ordinating trades.
- Abuse: harassment, hate, threats, doxxing, spam, impersonating others or claiming qualifications you don't have.
- Anything illegal, including sharing pirated material.
Some of these are blocked automatically when you post. If your post is blocked by mistake, rephrase it as a learning question (for example, "How would I evaluate a company's debt?" rather than "Should I buy X?").
3. Groups
- Official groups are run by Skylar. Members who have completed 10 lessons or earned a certificate can create learning groups (up to 2 every 30 days).
- Group names and descriptions follow these guidelines too. A group created to promote a channel, service or tips will be removed.
4. Badges
- Email verified: the member's email address is confirmed.
- Verified learner: the member has earned at least one Skylar certificate.
- Skylar verified: granted by the Skylar team to mentors, educators and experts. It confirms identity and role, not that a member's views are advice or endorsed by Skylar.
5. Reporting and moderation
- Use Report on any post or answer that breaks these guidelines. Content reported by three members is hidden until a moderator reviews it.
- Moderators may edit, hide or remove content, remove groups, withdraw badges, and suspend or close accounts that break these guidelines or our Terms of use.
- To appeal a decision, email .
6. Your content
- Your profile (name, handle, bio, city, experience, interests, badges) and your posts and answers are public, including to people who are not signed in. Your email address is never shown.
- You keep ownership of what you write and allow Skylar to display it on Skylar Learning. You can edit or delete your posts at any time; deleting your account removes them.
- Do not post personal or confidential information, about you or anyone else.
