Yes, there is nothing to pay. The Foundation path is open to everyone. Every other chapter unlocks with Skylar Coins, which you earn by learning, and every new account starts with 500 free coins. Paid analysis tools may come later; they will always be optional and clearly labelled.

Anyone who wants to understand how markets work before risking money: complete beginners, people who have traded and lost, and investors who want a system instead of tips. No prior knowledge is needed for the Foundation path.

The Foundation path. It begins with risk management and psychology on purpose: SEBI's study of FY22 to FY24 found that 93% of individual F&O traders lost money, and most of them skipped exactly these topics.

No. Skylar is an education platform. We are not registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser or Research Analyst, so we do not give buy, sell or hold recommendations, price targets, tips or calls, about any security, in any channel.

SEBI's rules for investor education allow educators to use market price data only once it is at least three months old. That suits learning anyway: a past case lets you study the evidence and the outcome together, without the pressure of a live decision.

No. Lesson charts use simulated prices and a fictional company ("Example Ltd") so each concept can be shown clearly. Historical Rewind cases are labelled as such; practice cases are labelled as simulated.

Never. No course, strategy or certificate can promise returns. Anyone who promises guaranteed profits from the market should be treated with suspicion.

Skylar Coins are Skylar Learning's learning currency. New accounts start with 500. You earn 10 for each lesson you complete, 50 for each chapter test you pass, 250 for finishing a whole atlas, and up to 40 for each Market Rewind case. Foundation chapters are free; every other chapter unlocks for 100 coins and stays unlocked.

No, never. Skylar Coins have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, withdrawn or exchanged for money, securities or anything outside Skylar Learning. They exist only to unlock learning. See the Skylar Coins & Referral Programme terms.

A friend who creates a new account with it gets 100 extra coins, and you get 200 coins once they complete their first chapter (up to 20 rewards every 30 days). Rewards are always coins, never money. Complete every lesson in a chapter and pass the chapter test (70% or more) to earn a chapter certificate. Complete every chapter in an atlas or a learning path to earn that certificate. You can print certificates or save them as PDF from your progress page.

No. It confirms you completed Skylar's educational content. It is not a SEBI or NISM certification and does not qualify you to give investment advice.

If you are signed out, only in your browser on this device: clearing browser data, or switching browser or device, starts you from zero. Sign in with your email or Google account and your progress, Skylar Coins and certificates are saved to your account and follow you to any device. Anything you did before signing in is added to your account.

No. Every lesson, test and Rewind case works without one. An account only adds saving across devices and certificates with a credential ID that anyone can verify. Accounts are for learners aged 18 and over.

Certificates issued while you are signed in carry a credential ID such as SKY-7K2M9QXD. Anyone can enter it on the verification page to see the name, the course completed and the completion date. It shows nothing else about you.

Sign in and open your account page (the round initial at the top right), then choose "Delete my account". Your progress and issued certificates are erased, and their credential IDs stop verifying. You can download a copy of your data first.

A place to ask questions, answer others and join groups on the topics you are studying, from risk and charts to fundamentals, options education and NISM preparation. Reading is open to everyone; to post, sign in and create a profile. It is for learning: stock tips, calls, paid groups and contact details are not allowed. See the community guidelines.

There are three badges. Email verified is automatic. Verified learner appears once you earn any Skylar certificate. Skylar verified is given by the Skylar team to mentors, educators and experts after checking who they are. Badges show learning and roles, not a licence to give advice.

Yes, once you have completed 10 lessons or earned a certificate. You can create up to 2 groups every 30 days. Groups must be about learning; groups that promote tips, channels or paid services are removed.

No. Everything on Skylar works without a trading account. If and when you decide to practise with real money, start small and use the risk rules from the Foundation path.
